I have not blogged in a while. Since my last blog I visited London. It was an amazing trip. There is something poetic about history being juxtaposed against modernism.
It’s a walking city and walk I did! I have never walked so much in my whole life. Each and every turn brought a new discovery. Afternoon tea in eclectic café, 300 year old pubs tucked in alleyways packed with locals, tube rides to hundreds of different parts of the city compacted together haphazardly and famous landmarks, I have only read or seen in books, filled my days and nights.
I never knew what losing myself meant until I explored London. Each day, I set out with no destination, only the need to explore and experience the diverse culture. I fell in love…in love with London. A city with heart and a kindness I have never experienced.
So nice to see London through your eyes! Can’t wait to see it with you when you move there! Love you!
